Community Hospice
and Palliative Care (),
a Michigan not-for-profit corporation, has been offering holistic health
care alternatives to incurably ill patients and their families since 1981.
began as a grass-roots
organization founded by a handful of dedicated individuals whose only
purpose was to serve the needs of terminally ill patients.
is Joint Commission Accredited, Medicare certified and licensed by the
State of Michigan to provide care in Wayne, Oakland, Washtenaw and Monroe
Counties. Our comprehensive program addresses the physical, emotional
and spiritual aspects of care and is available to patients and their families
24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The same gentle
concern we show patients is expressed to their families and caregivers
after the patient's death. A full range of adult and children's bereavement
services are provided for a minimum of 13 months.
